  • Do you have a client contract for cleaning clients?
    Yes, we do. Here is a copy of what to expect: OUR BUSINESS BILLS BASED ON A FLAT RATE BASIS, NOT HOURLY PAYMENT FOR CLEANING SERVICES PROVIDED IS EXPECTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF BILLING UNLESS OTHERWISE DISCUSSED CLIENT REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL TASKS TO BE ADDED TO CLEAN MUST BE SENT DIRECTLY TO HANNAH FOR APPROVAL PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAJORITY OF OUR STAFF HAVE CHILDREN AND THERE MAY BE CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO THIS FACT. WE DO OUR BEST TO MITIGATE THESE FACTORS AS A CLIENT YOU CAN EXPECT US TO ACT PROFESSIONALLY AND COMMUNICATE CLEARLY. IF CLIENT NEEDS MORE CLARIFICATION WE ARE HAPPY TO ASSIST AS A CLIENT WE AGREE TO GIVE YOU AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE ABOUT RESCHEDULED CLEANS WE REQUEST THAT CLIENTS PROVIDE US WITH AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE IF A CLEAN MUST BE RESCHEDULED/CANCELED WE REQUEST THAT CLIENTS CONTACT US IF DUTIES ARE MISSED DURING THEIR CLEAN SO WE CAN RECTIFY THE ISSUE EXTRA TOUCHES TO CLEAN THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AGREED UPON ESTIMATE ARE NOT TO BE EXPECTED AND WILL NOT BE THE SAME ACROSS THE BOARD. THEY ARE SIMPLY AN ADDED BONUS TO THE CLEAN WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SAME TIME SLOT EVERY WEEK THOUGH WE WILL MAKE EFFORT TO KEEP IT CONSISTENT WE ALLOW FOR AN ARRIVAL WINDOW +/- 15 MINUTES OF SCHEDULED TIME TO ACCOUNT FOR TRAFFIC AND OTHER SITUATIONS WE REQUEST THAT WHEN YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ILL TO LET US KNOW AND GIVE US THE OPTION OF RESCHEDULING CLEANING SPACE OFFERED BY ADMIN WILL BE HELD UNTIL 5PM FRIDAY THE WEEK BEFORE THE CLEAN. THEREAFTER SPACE NOT GUARANTEED MAINTENANCE CLEAN IS A SURFACE CLEAN WE DO NOT REMOVE GARBAGES OR DO BEDDING UNLESS AIRBNB CLIENT WE DO NOT DO DISHES AND ITEMS NEED TO BE PICKED UP OFF THE FLOOR AND SURFACES TIDIED SO WE CAN CLEAN EFFICIENTLY WE DO NOT CLEAN FECES, BLOOD, OR URINE FROM HUMANS OR PETS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WIFI TO CUMBERLAND CLEANING CO. STAFF FOR SAFETY REASONS AS THERE ARE MANY LOCATIONS IN THE COMOX VALLEY THAT HAVE NO CELL PHONE SERVICE IF CLIENT IS HOME WE DO NOT RE CLEAN PLACES WE HAVE ALREADY CLEANED ESTIMATE VALID FOR 1 MONTH AFTER WALKTHROUGH CLIENT CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CHANGES
  • Do you provide your own cleaning equipment?
    Yes, we provide our own non-toxic, biodegradable, environmentally friendly cleaning products as well as our own vacuums and mops. We do not provide toilet brushes. Please provide your own toilet brush.

  • How to book your services
    We prefer to start out with a complimentary walkthrough which gives us the opportunity to meet you and to really understand your needs when it comes to cleaning. This also gives us the opportunity to assess your home so we can offer an educated estimate for your first clean. We walk you through the home and ask a series of questions to get an idea of what you are hoping to gain from our services. We then go over in detail our recommended cleaning packages and create an estimate that works for you After the consultation, we send you an estimate with a list of cleaning duties previously discussed. We then set up a day and time that works with your schedule.
  • How can I pay you?
    We prefer e-transfer but do accept credit cards upon request
  • Can you use my cleaning products when cleaning my home?
    We have a policy to only use our personal line of cleaning products with our cleaning services. This applies to all of our staff
  • What can I expect with a Deep Clean?
    A team of cleaners (generally ranging from 2-5 staff) will arrive at the designated time. Prior to the clean we will discuss door codes, parking, times, etc. To help us be more efficient please move any easy to move items off of the floor, declutter countertops and/or flat surfaces, remove magnets from the fridge etc. Please let us know if you have any pets and where they will be. This ensures they aren’t in the way when cleaners are moving around your home
  • What should I do before you come clean my home?

  • What do we NOT clean?
    We do not clean up toxic waste such as fecal matter, urine, vomit, or blood. We do not change cat litter. We do not move fridges, stoves, or couches. If you would like behind these items cleaned please move them before we arrive
  • Are you insured?
    Yes, we are covered by WCB and we are bonded
  • How are you eco-conscious?
    We pride ourselves in being eco-conscious with our cleaning products (which we sell online and use during our cleaning services), our products are made in-house and with high quality, non-toxic ingredients. We also have a re-fill program for our products where you can bring back your glass bottle and get a re-fill at a discounted rate which means less trash being tossed into landfills.
